📍 Event Details

• Date: 9 May 2026 (Saturday)

• Time: 5:00 – 7:00 pm

• Venue: Garden International School, 50m Swimming Pool, Entrance via Gate A

🎯 Target Group

• Open to local Malaysian swimmers

• Interest in competitive swimming

• Preferred age range: 9–18 years

• Residents near Mont Kiara and surrounding areas

✅ Prerequisites

• Already undergoing regular swim training

• Able to swim all 4 strokes with confidence

• Able to commit minimum 5 training days per week

• Demonstrates positive training attitude and discipline

📝 Registration

• Online free pre-registration for maximum of 50 swimmers only on first come first served basis

• Registration will close once the capacity has been reached

• Swimmers must arrive 15 mins earlier for attendance check, warm-up and briefing

• Please bring along swimming gears eg. kickboard , goggles, fins, sports shoes etc

🔑 Key Objectives

• Identify promising young swimmers for KL Development Squad under the Program Bakat Olimpik Wilayah

• Assess technical skills, endurance, and competitive mindset

• Develop a competitive training group based at Garden Int. School, Mont Kiara

• Build a pipeline of talent for state and national representations

🗒️Assessments

• Involves personal and physical data collections

• Assessment on swimming drills and techniques

• Assessed by KL Head Coach, Shazali Salleh, Bakat Coach, Coach Kamarudin Mustafa, Coach Li Xinxin & assisted by other KL coaches
