📍 Event Details

• Date: 9 May 2026 (Saturday)

• Time: 5:00 – 7:00 pm

• Venue: Garden International School, 50m Swimming Pool, Entrance via Gate A

🎯 Target Group

• Open to local Malaysian swimmers

• Interest in competitive swimming

• Preferred age range: 9–18 years

• Residents near Mont Kiara and surrounding areas

✅ Prerequisites

• Already undergoing regular swim training

• Able to swim all 4 strokes with confidence

• Able to commit minimum 5 training days per week

• Demonstrates positive training attitude and discipline

📝 Registration

• Online free pre-registration for maximum of 50 swimmers only on first come first served basis

• Registration will close once the capacity has been reached

• Swimmers must arrive 15 mins earlier for attendance check, warm-up and briefing

• Please bring along swimming gears eg. kickboard , goggles, fins, sports shoes etc

🔑 Key Objectives

• Identify promising young swimmers for KL Development Squad under the Program Bakat Olimpik Wilayah

• Assess technical skills, endurance, and competitive mindset

• Develop a competitive training group based at Garden Int. School, Mont Kiara

• Build a pipeline of talent for state and national representations

🗒️Assessments

• Involves personal and physical data collections

• Assessment on swimming drills and techniques

• Assessed by KL Head Coach, Shazali Salleh, Bakat Coach, Coach Kamarudin Mustafa, Coach Li Xinxin & assisted by other KL coaches

MAS Grade 3 Swimming Technical Officials Course - March 2026

 Greetings from Akuatik Kuala Lumpur!

Akuatik Kuala Lumpur (AKL) in collaboration with Malaysia Aquatics (MAS) is pleased to extend our

invitation to all affiliates of MAS & AKL to participate in the MAS SWIMMING TECHNICAL

OFFICIALS COURSE GRADE 3 which will be held as follows:

Date : 28th and 29th March, 2026 (Saturday & Sunday)

Time : 9.00am – 5.00pm

Venue : International Youth Centre, Jalan Yaacob

Latif, Bandar Tun Razak, 56000 Cheras

Closing Date : 23rd March, 2026

Max. no. of Participants : 60 pax (on first come first served basis)

Course Fee : RM160/person

IPG student : RM60/person (special rate)

Registration form together with payment must be submitted on or before 23rd March, 2026

2. Participation is opened to all interested candidates in education /swimming communities, aged 18 years

3. The course fee covers course materials, test papers, morning & afternoon tea breaks.

4. Certificates will be issued by MAS after passing the examination and upon completion of three (3)

Akuatik Kuala Lumpur, in collaboration with Akuatik Malaysia, is pleased to inform that we will be

organizing a MAS Level 1 Swimming Coaching Course as follow:-

Dates : 10th – 13th November 2025

Venue : Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology

(TARUMT)

Jalan Genting Kelang, Setapak, 53300 Kuala Lumpur

Time : 8.00am – 6.00pm

Course fee : RM800 per participant

Capacity : Limited to the first 40 participants

Eligibility : Aged 18 years and above

Lecturers : 1) Ms Megan Oesting (MAS Technical Director)

2) Mr Melvin Chua (Certified International Swim Instructor/Coach Trainer)

Certification by : Malaysia Aquatics

Registration Deadline : 28th October, 2025

Participants who pass the test at the end of the course will be awarded the

Level 1 Swimming Coaching Course Certificate certified by Akuatik
