Congratulations to the recipients.

Team Kuala Lumpur
Sebastian Soon broke the 400m IM Group 1 boys records by swimming a faster time of 4:32.95 to renew the old record of 4:33.34, even though he could have done a faster time with his recent PB.

In addition, Misa  and Yong Jie both also rewrote the meet records for 400m IM with a new time of 5:06.24 and 4:58.37 respectively.

Day 2 of MIAG 2019 witnessed more records for KL Team with Muhd Dhuha breaking Joseph Schooling's 2006 records

Team Kuala Lumpur

Muhd Dhuha in the Group 4 Boys category pulled a brilliant performance yesterday in his 50m fly by clocking a new PB and meet record of 31.18 to erase a 13-year old record made by Joseph Schooling in 2006.

He was on record breaking mode as he repeated his win again in 100m fly today by shaving 2s off his seed time to a new meet record of 1:10.86 , again previously held by Joseph Schooling in 2006. We hope to see an Olympian in the making!

Dhuha also led his relay team to a new record in 4x100m freestyle relay at the end of the session with a new time of 4:33.75 together with Looi Zizou, Seungmin Woo and Jaydrien Ng.

Misa Okuzuno's accumulated a total of 4 meet records so far and it is not surprising she added more accolades to her coffer as most of her seeds times are either near the record time or has already surpassed them. Today, she scooped another record in 400m free with a new time of 4:32.57 re-writing a 2007 record held by Cheng Karmen.

Yap Yong Jie, also blasted 2 meet records of 2013 in 200 IM and 400m free with his great performance.

Meanwhile, Bryan Leong equalises the meet record of 100fly with an equivalent time of 55.40 charted by fellow KL swimmer, Keith Lim in 2015.
