The 7th Asian Open Water Swimming Championships 2017 begins tomorrow 19 May 2017, with the 5km swim at 7 am. at Putrajaya Lake, Malaysia. The 10km swim will take place on 21 May 2017 (Sun).
This is the first time ASUM (Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia) is organising the open water event co-sponsored by MASOC (SEA Games Kuala Lumpur 2017 Organising Committee), MILO Nestle and Astral Pool.
Team Malaysia comprises of open water national swimmer, Heidi Gan, Vernon Lee, and they will be joined by Welson Sim, Wong Jun Bin, Rupert Tan, Angela Chieng.
